Play Your Part on World Environment Day - 5th June 2023

As we approach World Environment Day on 5th June 2023, we are mindful they will be celebrating 50 years of the amazing work they do around the world and we are proud to support them and the good work they do. It is paramount that we all play a part in protecting our environment for future generations and as a business we continue to try and do the same. 

If you are unsure what you can do to help, there are plenty of ideas of how to get involved on the World Environment Day website. At Lime Kitchen and Bathroom we also promote water saving and eco taps to help save water and energy. Simple measures such as buying a tap aerator can save up to 50% water usage in your business or home. Tap aerators add air to the water flow which softens the flow and they reduce the amount of water flowing through the tap. Other ideas include replacing your tap or shower head with an eco tap or eco shower head, as these products will reduce the amount of water you use, which in turn reduces the energy used to heat the water.
